Permanent eave lighting in Australia: a planning guide

Explore permanent eave lighting for Australian homes: discreet track, everyday warm white, DIY planning and first-release interest.

Start with ordinary evenings

Permanent eave lighting is intended to stay along a home’s roofline, with a discreet appearance by day and a considered effect after dark. Eaveline is developing a track-based system with individual light modules for Australian homes. Our priority is dedicated warm white for everyday use, with colour for occasions you choose. Start with the front elevation, entrance or outdoor living space you want to enjoy throughout the year. Consider the lights switched off as well as switched on.

What makes a track-based system different?

Our proposed design places separate, serviceable light modules in low-profile aluminium track beneath the eaves. It is a different approach from a continuous LED strip or a temporary string of lights. The planning layout is four lights per metre at 250 mm centres: approximately 120 modules across 30 metres. This configuration remains subject to physical sample evaluation and final product selection. Screen colours are references, not guaranteed paint matches.

DIY kits or professional installation?

Eaveline’s first-release focus is DIY kits planned for Australia-wide delivery. We also collect installation interest for South East Queensland, with the Sunshine Coast first. These are expressions of interest, not installation bookings. Final kit contents, instructions, the power arrangement and any required professional work are still being assessed. Tell us about storeys, access and your preferred roofline so these can be considered before an offer.

What should you ask before ordering?

Ask what the complete kit includes, which white-light and app features are confirmed, how individual parts are serviced, and what written warranty applies to each component. Check freight and property-specific installation work separately. Eaveline is accepting free interest while samples, supply and Australian compliance are verified. We take no payments or deposits now. Final specifications, prices and delivery estimates will be supplied before paid orders open.
